- 1 Chicken Breast (cut into small pieces)
- Curd (yogurt)
- Turmeric Powder
- Salt to taste
- Red Chili Powder
- Chicken Masala
- Coriander Powder
- Ginger-Garlic-Green Chili Paste
- Butter
- Tomato Sauce (optional)
- Roti or Paratha
- Tandoori Sauce (for spreading)
- Sliced Onions
- Chopped Coriander
- Green Chutney or Dip (for serving)
Instructions
- In a bowl, add chicken pieces. Mix with curd, turmeric, salt, red chili powder, chicken masala, coriander powder, ginger-garlic-green chili paste, butter, and optional tomato sauce. Let it marinate for 15–30 minutes.
- Heat a pan, add a little butter or oil. Fry the marinated chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
- Take a warm roti or paratha. Spread tandoori sauce, place the cooked chicken on top, add sliced onions and coriander. Roll it tightly.
- Serve the roll hot with green chutney or dip.
Notes
- Don’t rush the marination process – even an extra 10 minutes can make a significant difference in flavor
- Make sure your roti or paratha is warm but not too hot for easy rolling
- Use fresh coriander and crisp onions for the best texture contrast
- Don’t overdo the tandoori sauce to avoid a soggy roll
- You can adjust spice levels according to your preference
