- 4–6 strips of bacon
- 2–3 cups of shredded hash browns or hash brown patties
- 6 large eggs
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped vegetables like bell peppers, onions, or spinach (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet or baking dish, cook the bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
- Add the hash browns to the same pan and cook until they start to brown.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
- Return the bacon to the pan, then pour the egg mixture evenly over the hash browns and bacon.
- Top with cheese and vegetables if using.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
