- 400g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 peppers (any color), sliced
- 250ml cream
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnishing
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp curry powder
- Chili powder to taste
- Rice for serving (basmati or jasmine recommended)
- 1 tbsp oil for cooking
Instructions
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until golden and nearly done, about 5-6 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Lower heat slightly and add diced onion, cooking until translucent.
- Add peppers and minced garlic, stirring occasionally for about 3 minutes until peppers begin to soften.
- Pour in the cream and add paprika, curry powder, and chili (if using).
- Let the mixture simmer gently for about 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld and sauce to thicken slightly.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley and sesame seeds.
- Serve the creamy chicken over a bed of rice.
