Description
A flavorful Indian-style chicken dish featuring crispy marinated chicken breast strips tossed in aromatic spices and butter tadka, finished with a creamy tandoori mayo and curd sauce.
Ingredients
- Chicken breast, cut into long strips – 500g
- Black pepper – 1 tsp
- Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Egg – 1 large
- Corn flour – 3 tbsp
- Oil for deep frying – as needed
- Chopped garlic – 4-5 cloves
- Green chili – 2-3 pieces
- Curry leaves (meethi neem) – 8-10 leaves
- Whole dry red chili – 2-3 pieces
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Butter – 3 tbsp
- Curd – 1/2 cup
- Tandoori mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
- Salt for sauce – a pinch
Instructions
- Mix chicken strips with black pepper, ginger-garlic paste, salt, egg, and corn flour. Marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil and deep fry the marinated chicken strips until golden brown and crispy.
- In a separate pan, heat butter over medium heat.
- Add chopped garlic, green chili, curry leaves, whole dry red chili, red chili powder, and turmeric powder to the butter.
- Sauté the spices until aromatic and fragrant.
- Add the fried chicken to the tadka and mix well to coat evenly.
- Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- In a bowl, mix curd, tandoori mayonnaise, and a pinch of salt to make the sauce.
- Drizzle the creamy sauce over the hot chicken tadka.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
