Description
Cheesecake Deviled Strawberries are a delightful twist on classic deviled eggs, featuring fresh strawberries filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture. Perfect for parties, picnics, or a sweet treat at home!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pint fresh strawberries (about 20–24 medium-sized)
- 4 oz (½ cup) cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ⅓ cup cold heavy cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp graham cracker crumbs (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prep the Strawberries: Wash and gently pat dry the strawberries. Hull (remove the green tops) and scoop out a small center to create space for the filling.
- Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Whip until light and fluffy.
- Fill the Strawberries: Transfer the filling to a piping bag (or a ziplock bag with a corner snipped). Pipe the mixture into each strawberry.
- Garnish: Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top.
- Chill: Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
- For a tangy twist, add a splash of lemon juice to the filling.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
- For a neater presentation, use a piping bag with a star tip.
